Home Away From Home Gets a Dedicated EV Charger and TV Mounts

This one was a fun job. Our client has a second home she travels to regularly, and every time she arrived, she was dealing with the same headache - hunting down a public charging station after already being on the road all day. That gets old fast. So we got her set up with a proper solution right in the garage.

We installed a dedicated GM home EV charger mounted directly on the garage wall, tied into the electrical panel right there in the same space. Having the panel that close to the charger keeps the wiring clean and the setup efficient. No long runs, no unnecessary complexity. Just a solid, reliable charging setup she can plug into the second she pulls in.

A dedicated Level 2 home charger is a completely different experience compared to relying on public stations or a standard outlet. You wake up the next morning with a full charge. Every time. That kind of convenience makes a real difference, especially at a second property where you want things to just work when you arrive.

We also knocked out two TV mounts for her - one in what looks like a bedroom with a nice marble-top dresser setup, and a larger one in another room. Both are sitting clean and level on the wall. It's a small thing, but walking into a space that's already set up the way you want it makes a second home feel a lot more like home.
