This one had a little bit of everything. We put in a new 200-amp Eaton meter/panel combo for a homeowner who needed a full electrical refresh - more capacity, better protection, and a couple of new circuits to support how they actually use their home.

The meter/panel combo is a clean setup because it combines the utility meter socket and the main breaker panel into a single unit. Less hardware, tighter installation, and everything coordinated through one enclosure. It also makes the emergency disconnect labeling straightforward and code-compliant right out of the box.

On top of the panel work, we ran a dedicated circuit specifically for the homeowner's bidet. That's something a lot of people don't think about until they have an issue - bathroom fixtures like bidets need their own circuit so they aren't competing with other loads on a shared line. It's a small addition that makes a real difference in reliability.

We also installed whole-home surge protection tied directly into the panel. Power surges can come from lightning, grid fluctuations, or even large appliances cycling on and off inside the house. A panel-level surge protector catches those spikes before they reach your devices, your HVAC, your appliances - everything. It's one of the best low-cost ways to protect what you've already invested in your home.

Once everything was buttoned up, we tested every outlet and circuit to confirm correct wiring, proper voltage, and no faults anywhere in the system. 122 VAC reading correct, green light across the board. That's how every job should end.
